1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of SnapLocal (regional screenshot capture and annotation) and SnapPage (full-page capture and PDF export), together the “Extensions,” both published as Chrome extensions and operated by an independent developer (“we” or the “Developer”). By installing or using either Extension, you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, do not use them.
2. License Grant
When you purchase a Pro license — a one-time payment of $19 for SnapLocal Pro or $15 for SnapPage Pro — we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Pro features on devices you control, for both personal and commercial purposes. There are no recurring fees and no expiration. SnapPage also offers a free tier (up to 3 captures per day); the free versions of both Extensions may be used at no cost under the same conduct rules below.
3. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Decompile, reverse-engineer, or extract the source of the Extensions, or redistribute, resell, sublicense, or repackage them (or their Pro unlocks) as your own.
- Share, publish, or trade Pro license keys, or circumvent license verification.
- Impersonate the Developer, or misrepresent the Extensions as an official product of Google, Chrome, or any third party.
- Use the Extensions to violate any law, infringe another party’s rights, or capture content you have no right to capture.
- Abuse, harass, or attempt to disrupt the Developer or the support channels.
Violation of these rules may result in revocation of your license without refund.
4. Intellectual Property
The Extensions — code, UI, branding, icons, and documentation — are owned by the Developer and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant a limited license to use the Extensions; they transfer no ownership. Screenshots and content you create remain entirely yours — we claim no rights to them, and (as described in our privacy policy) they never leave your device.
5. Payment
All purchases are processed by the third-party payment platform Payhip, governed by Payhip’s own terms and privacy policy. We never see or store your card details. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Extensions are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Extensions will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every future version of Chrome.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, screenshots, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Extensions. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Extensions shall not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the applicable Pro license in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
8. Privacy
Both Extensions process everything 100% locally, request zero host_permissions, require no account, and collect no telemetry. The full details are set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any revised version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Extensions after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected here rather than pushed silently.
